The Justice Oak award for the best thesis, for the year 2011 by Astronomical Society of India has been awarded to Dr. Girjesh R Gupta, on the 32nd meeting of the Astronomical Society of India (ASI) hosted by the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Mohali (IISERM) during March 20-22, 2014.
