The URL to the SPIE Digital Library homepage, <a title=\"This external link will open in a new window\" href=\"http:\/\/SPIEDigitalLibrary.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/SPIEDigitalLibrary.org<\/a>, will not change. Other landing and article pages will have new URLs;\u00a0however, permanent redirects will be in place to ensure that previous links and bookmarks will be permanently redirected to the new pages.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#ff00ff;\">What`s New:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>More Content:<\/strong> At no additional cost, subscribers now have access to 40,000 additional articles (published between 1962 and 1989) from the Proceedings of SPIE and Optical Engineering journal\u2014 extending SPIE Digital Library coverage for both publications back to Volume 1.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>New Taxonomy:<\/strong> SPIE and Silverchair have worked together to create a comprehensive taxonomy and tagging system for optics and photonics. This means users are automatically exposed to content most relevant to their search or related to the content being viewed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>New Topical Collections:<\/strong> By cross-cutting all proceeding, journal and book content, the SPIE Digital library now offers 120+ specific subject collections where users can easily find the latest information related to their topical interests and sub-specialties.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>Mobile-Optimized for All Web-Enabled Phones and Tablets:<\/strong> Subscribers can use the SPIE Digital Library on any mobile devices via their web browser.
