{"id":366,"date":"2012-09-06T04:19:54","date_gmt":"2012-09-06T04:19:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/libraryastrophysics.wordpress.com\/?p=366"},"modified":"2012-09-06T04:19:54","modified_gmt":"2012-09-06T04:19:54","slug":"new-to-oxford-journals-in-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/library.iiap.res.in\/collaborate\/?p=366","title":{"rendered":"New to Oxford Journals in 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Oxford University Press (OUP) and the Royal Astronomical Society (RAS) announced a new publishing partnership for the Society\u2019s highly cited and internationally prestigious journals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">\u00a0OUP will assume publication of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oxfordjournals.org\/our_journals\/mnras\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oxfordjournals.org\/our_journals\/mnrasl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society: Letters<\/a>, G<a href=\"http:\/\/www.oxfordjournals.org\/our_journals\/gji\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">eophysical Journal International<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oxfordjournals.org\/our_journals\/astrogeo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Astronomy &amp; Geophysics<\/a> from January 2013.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">\u00a0Professor David Southwood, President of the Royal Astronomical Society, commented: \u201cScientific communication with sound peer review and effective production and distribution is an essential component of research in astronomy and geophysics and lies at the very heart of RAS activity.
