Engaging attendees with informative posters and exhibits, the team highlighted the wealth of resources available at the library and the historical significance of the archives&#8217; materials. The major exhibits highlighted the historical background of IIA from its establishment as a private observatory under William Petrie in Madras to the final shift of headquarters to Bangalore. The contributions of John&nbsp; Evershed and Norman Pogson were featured in the exhibition along with the photometer and the transit circle. The exhibits also included the book &#8220;Astronomia Nova&#8221; published in 1609 by Johannes Kepler and the hand written Astronomical Observations Madras, 1792-94 popularly known as the &#8220;Annual report of 1792&#8221;. This presentation generated significant interest among visitors, who showed a keen eagerness to delve deeper into the institute&#8217;s heritage. The event&#8217;s photos beautifully capture the vibrant atmosphere, depicting the bustling activities and captivating displays that characterized the day.
